Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for the Eleventh European Conference of Egyptologists. Egypt 2025: Perspectives of Research will be held in Bucharest from the 9th to the 14th of September 2025. The conference is organised by Hyperion University in collaboration with the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

We are pleased to inform you that the electronic version of the 37th volume of our journal, Études et Travaux, is already available (in Open Access model) on the journal’s website (http://www.etudesettravaux.iksiopan.pl/index.php/en/current-issue).
The editors of Études et Travaux would like to remind you that proposals for the 38th volume (to be published in 2025) can be submitted until 31 March 2025.
Études et Travaux is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It is indexed by SCOPUS, ERIH PLUS and DOAJ among others. It is published in print with colour illustrations and as an online Open Access journal, with the possibility of applying various Creative Commons licences to individual articles. Authors are not charged for the submission, peer-review and publication process.

Each year, the individual departments of the Polish Academy of Sciences recognise scientists for their remarkable accomplishments and innovative research efforts. The prestigious PAS departmental awards hold significant esteem within the scientific community. These awards are presented annually to both Polish researchers and foreign scientists working in Poland for their exceptional and creative contributions to science. Nominations are put forward by members of the Polish Academy of Sciences and by those affiliated with specific scientific and problem committees of each department.
